Since age eight, I've carried my camera to explore the world. On the sea off Xiapu, Fujian, fishermen cast their nets, and the sea surface sparkles with light. On the vast Antarctic ice sheet, penguins stood quietly, bathed in the soft sunlight. Between light and shadow, what I pursue is no longer merely capturing beauty and poetry, but a quest to transform the way we see the world and claim each individual's right to tell their stories.
